ONLINE COURSES

LDESP currently offers online courses on Afghanistan that are geared to prepare the participants to accomplish the mission of promoting regional stability in the country.

The online course provides an overview of the early history of Afghanistan, the civil war, the US led war, and UN resolutions in Afghanistan, implementation of the Bonn Agreement and includes topics on the structure and background of the ANA and ISAF. The course will familiarize participants with the regional interests and key U.S. policies.

NEWS UPDATES

The LDESP program also sends out a biweekly news update that includes important political situations in the Afghanistan, the status of democratic instituitions in these countries, and reports on "security cooperation" efforts between Afghanistan and the US.
